It’s finally happening, soon you will be able to show the geographic and demographic break down of your Instagram audience on your external ZINE media kit link, provide detailed snapshots of your story performance and more!
There’s a small catch though… To be able to show this data you will need to connect your Instagram business account to a Facebook page.
How to Show reach Insights on your media kit
What you will need:
1. An instagram Business or Creator Account
2. A Facebook page
Step 1: Connect your instagram account to your facebook page
Don’t have a Facebook page? Here’s a detailed step by step guide on how to set up a facebook page in less than 5 minutes.
Once you've got your Facebook page - note, it needs to be your Facebook page and you need to be the page owner or have a managing role for that page - you’re ready to go!
Connect the Facebook page to your Instagram Business account:
On Facebook, go to your Page’s Settings and click Instagram, then log into your Instagram account
If the account is not an Instagram Business Account, you will be prompted to set up your Business Profile:
Continue through the steps to convert the account to an Instagram Business Account. When you are done, you will have successfully connected the Page to the Instagram Business Account.
Step 2: Connect your instagram and facebook page to your zine media kit
Last but not least - make sure you connect your Instagram AND Facebook Page to your ZINE Media kit. If you don't want to display your Facebook Page on your media kit, you can toggle it to invisible as shown below:
If your facebook page was already connected to your Media Kit you will have to disconnect and reconnect it after you've linked your instagram account to it.
That’s it! You’re done and will be upgraded to the new Media Kit with more insights, stats and data as soon as it goes live!
